Summer of fun for pre-school children
ACTIVITIES to keep pre-school children busy during the Summer are now in full swing.
Maldon Children's Centre arranged six sessions for the Summer at the activity centre behind Maldon's library.
Clay workshops were held on Friday August 1 with a second on Friday August 8 with children getting the chance to first make and then paint the clay masterpieces.
Collage workshops were held, in conjunction with the Maldon Art Trail, on Tuesday August 5 with another due on Tuesday August 26.
And the pretend and print workshops, with children getting the chance to dress up and then create a frame for their picture, will be held on Tuesday August 12 and Friday August 15.
All sessions last for an hour and a half beginning at 10am. Older siblings will be welcome to join in.
You can turn up on the day but to book or find out more call project worker Sallie Nightingale on 07976 795564.
The workshops have been organised in conjunction with Essex County Council as part of the Sure Start programme for pre-school children.
