Police appeal for witnesses after theft in Maldon

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a theft in Maldon.

Thieves went into Town Row in High Street, Maldon, and stole two blue and one red metallic Italian leather belts designed by Clara Perry on Thursday July 31.

The first suspect is described as a young Asian woman aged about 18, 4ft 10ins tall, slim with dark hair in a long pony tail and was wearing a black cardigan and dark blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a young Asian woman also aged about 18, 5ft tall, with dark brown hair and a crystal nose piercing.

She was wearing a blue and white top and a light blue full length skirt.

The third suspect is described as a 30-year-old Asian woman, medium build with dark brown hair in a bun, wearing mostly black with a black and mustard print silk head scarf.

Anyone with information can call 0300 3334444, quoting reference 20080731-0824, and ask for PC Cally MacIver.
