Businesses in the district invited to breakfast meeting
EARLY business risers are invited to a special breakfast meeting.
Maldon District Business Club is holding a breakfast on Tuesday September 9 at Three Rivers Golf and Country Club from 7.30am to 10am.
It will provide businesses with an opportunity to hear first hand and discuss with Maldon District Council the findings of the 2008 Employment Land Review.
The review, carried out by Roger Tym and Partners, has assessed the demand for and supply of land for employment purposes.
It has looked at the suitability of current sites and at the future projections employment development, which will need to be made.
Councillor Frank Delderfield, chairman of Maldon District Council's planning and licensing committee said: "It is important that businesses have the opportunity to comment on the study, which is a key part of the evidence used to inform the development of future planning policies on economic development and employment land allocations for the district".
Places to the event are limited and acontribution of £5 is requested towards the cost of breakfast, this is non-refundable.
