BARRY Devenish (Chelmsford City FC B') ended a three-year wait when he regained his Ridley League men's singles darts title at last week's finals. Devenish has known in-and-out form during two blank years since winning the trophy in 2005 as a New Barn player, but his stickability was evident as he edged out Matt Atkinson (Cock) at Chelmsford Social Club. Atkinson, left stranded in a demoralising first leg, rallied to level, but Devenish found the crucial deciding double when it mattered.
