CHELMSFORD County High School pupil Charlotte Malton jumped a personal best of 1.64m in high jump at the Essex Schools' Track and Field Championships
The Year 10 student, who is now the joint County Champion, has been selected to represent Essex in the English Schools' Track and Field Championships.
The Essex Championships were held at Melbourne Stadium recently and Charlotte represented Mid-Essex at the championships.
Sarah Bellamy, head of PE at the school, said: "We are extremely proud of Charlotte - she works extremely hard and shows dedication and true commitment to her sport."
