Renie takes the win at Lady Captain's Day
IT was Lady Captain's Day at Burnham-on-Crouch Golf Club on Thursday.
Maurine Pace certainly gave the ladies a day to remember. The weather was marvellous, the prize table looked lovely and together with good food and company, the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Maurine kept everyone supplied with drinks, both alcoholic and fruit juices, throughout the day and very generously gave each lady a gift of tees, ball and ball marker as a memento of the day.
At the end of the prizegiving, Renie Hailstone, who was the worthy winner, thanked Maurine and her husband John and all the helpers and staff who had made the day so special.
