Nets up for the next generation

Maldon have entered into partnerships in the town and county to provide training facilities for the town's youngsters.
Cricket nets are being installed at Draper's Farm and club president Colin Philpot invited Sara Dignasse, headteacher of the Plume School, Steve Watson of Maldon District Council and Janet Thomas, from ECC to cut the ribbon at the opening of the first phase.
With the formalities over, children made the most of the facilities on offer.
