Sounes hits form in Burnham GC's Dora Peaty
Stormy weather suspended play on Thursday for the Burnham-on-Crouch Golf Club Ladies' Section
Dora Peaty Bogey Competition.
After sheltering for about 20 minutes, play continued in this "match play against the course" competition.
Annette Sounes was the winner with a score of plus three. She had played the previous weekend in a qualifying Stableford competition, coming in with 44 points, so she has really found her form over the past week and has cut her handicap by several shots.
In second place in the Dora Peaty was Doris Hart on plus two and third place went to Peggy Corbett on plus one.
